OK! Magazine
The ok! Magazine is different to the other magazines as it uses the colour red making it look eye-catching and stand out from the rest it also has the words OK! In white, bold and in capital letters making it stand out as well. The phrase OK! Is almost like they are shouting the word out to the viewer and is calling them.
This magazine is an exclusive on Jessie Wallace and her heartbreak as there is a large image of her in a wedding dress to get the viewers attention, the image is positioned in the centre making it the main focus and has other media objects surrounding her like two other images of rock n roll celebrities getting married, quotes of Jessie saying ‘I couldn’t marry a cheat’ this makes it look like bad gossip which gets the attention of the viewer as everyone is up for gossip, and has a pregnancy exclusive etc.
The text which has been used is positioned around Jessie making her face the main focus and uses the same colours from the OK! Logo for some of the text to make it match.
They have also used different colours so that certain pictures stand out for example the background is white, making Jessie’s black hair and make-up stand out and at the bottom the background is black making her white wedding dress stand out.
Also the position of Jessie is in the centre and the angle of the picture is the front view of her showing all her face and making look as though she is making eye-contact with the viewer and by doing this it is getting the viewers attention to pick up the magazine.
